Cathay is moving into the uber pampering market with the launch of Platinum Movie Suites at The Cathay Cineplex. The hall consists of an intimate 28-seater with full leather seats which have 50% more legroom than normal halls. It is believed that Platinum Movie Suites will appeal to patrons who are seeking a more exclusive and luxurious cinema-going experience.
Tickets cost $28 from Monday to Thursday and $38 from Friday to Sundays as well as public holidays and eve of public holidays. This does not include food and drinks, the menu for which ranges from gourmet light snack options to full three-course meals. Some of the new highlights include:
