Established lifestyle and entertainment management group LifeBrandz unveils Rebel' Hood the first hip hop theme café in Singapore, located in the heart of Clarke Quay.
Inspired by the last active Writer’s Bench located at the 149th Street Grand Concourse subway station in the Bronx, the street art on the walls and numerous fixtures of Rebel‘ Hood are designed and executed by top local graffiti artists, collectively known as RSCLS.
The three main elements of graffiti art – tagging, throw-ups, and characters, fuse well with the lighting and the dulcet beats of Rebel’s resident DJs to create the perfect ambiance of a “meeting point”. An al fresco area offers the perfect respite for clubbers to sit back, chill out and watch the world go by.
The menu is conceptualized as a “black book” or a visual journal of an aspiring Hip-Hop cook. The food and beverages on the menu are named after key R&B or hip hop influences and interesting sketches of some items are present on the “black book”.

There are not a lot of hawker centres where you can find a very good range of beers to pair with great hawker food. Actually, none.
Until now.
The Good Beer Company is a new hawker stall in the heart of Singapore's Chinatown that sells a range of great beers and ciders from brands never previously seen in hawker centres. And you get the chance to match them with familiar hawker favorites (from nearby hawker stalls) such as satay, zi-char, char kway teow, claypot rice and roasted meats, as well as many others.
Go join them, and have a good beer in the most Singaporean of experiences - the hawker centre.
