The French company, Le Coq Sportif has opened a new outlet at Plaza Singapura. They produce sports equipment such as shoes, shorts and T-shirts.
It started in 1882 with the opening of a little hosiery store in Romilly-sur-Seine, in a part of the Champagne region called the Aube. Emile Camuset, the man who opened that store, loved sports with a fierce passion. When he started making sports jersey in his small workshop, he probably never dreamed that, 130 years later, le Coq Sportif would become one of the world's most prestigious brands, renowned for its clothing, footwear and sporting equipment.
Their one hundred and thirty years of experience gives them a unique and authentic place in the market. They used to create products primarily for sportsmen. This inspired them, but it also challenged them. Meeting those challenges remains at the heart of their product philosophy today.
Their products have a simple, almost timeless quality.
Premier Pitch is one of the largest pitch operators in Singapore, boasting a total of 19 pitches spanning three locations. Their newest venture, sees a new standard in futsal play. They believe that playing football should not just be something for the professionals, but something for everyone to enjoy.
Since the launch of their 7-a-side and 5-a-side pitches, they have been packed night after night with futsal enthusiasts, with some even travelling from the north and the east to play with them. To launch their latest 5-a-side pitches, they will be having a series of events and promotions in November and December, including having the Bandai Cup (an annual kids’ tournament).
The Premier Pitch was an idea that came about due to the lack of quality football facilities in Singapore. With that in mind two ex-professional footballers, Faruk Alkaff and Paul Masefield, came together to provide a unique opportunity for you to enjoy football in any weather. With the largest covered "Fieldturf" pitches on the island, they offer a unique opportunity to play both 5-a-side football and 7-a-side football.
They cater to all types of players: junior, professional and even senior footballers. Whether training, playing competitively or just enjoying a kick around with friends, Premier Pitch will fulfill your every need. With ample free parking, covered seating areas, toilets, showers and changing facilities (including a separate shower cubicle in the ladies changing rooms), your comfort is guaranteed both on and off the field. Their 2 or 4 pitches are FIFA sanctioned sizes; and their revolutionary new Fieldturf playing surface, guarantees that you will have a quality of experience unrivalled in Singapore.
