Exposed to Monaco’s lavish lifestyle at a very tender age, William, Anthony and Julien brought their game right to the heart of the Central Business District. Being the first Monaco establishment to set foot in Singapore, owners and notorious high school buddies Julien, William and Anthony expands their empire with its rustic metal and wooden fixtures, that enhances the captivating industrial-chic lounge located at the fringe of Club Street, so fret not Instagram enthusiasts.
The Monte Carlo Boys aim to socially share their homeland’s authentic flavours and vibes with their first international venture, while glorifying their own personal life motto – “Life’s too short to drink bad beers and liquors” – and to do exactly that, they have graciously brought in their very own cultivation of luxurious and full-bodied beer. Partner in crime William Scheffer will not disappoint. This man is the living example of ‘No Risk, No Rewards’. His experiences roaming South East Asia within the past decade has cultivated certain values he treasures, so don’t mess because the 30-year-old operational expertise definitely knows how to handle his liquor as well as his patrons. “I want to be able to provide a place where people feel at home, and that can be seen here where the crew is able to utilize their strengths. That also means they would be having fun, with our food and drinks of course!”. Geared up with several successful entrepreneurial rendezvous, what William embodies can be seen in the products he distributes to well known hotels in Singapore and now here at Monte Carlo Boys.
The glue that keeps these boys in check is none other than Julien Picard. The 31-year-old real estate connoisseur splurges his substantial experience deemed with impeccable taste can be seen in the establishments outlook. Make sure to come as often to meet the busy man himself. Be prepared for a crazy night out with the bartender’s and boys’ generosity, because that’s what makes everybody come back for more.

The cocktails here are inspired by popular local dishes such as laksa and chicken rice.

The glasshouse bar is an extension of the Song of India restaurant and run by beverage consultancy, BarSmiths.
Their Hainanese Chicken Rice concotion ($26) is made with a fat-washed rye that takes on the flavours of garlic, ginger, shallots and sesame oil, a ginger liqueur and calamansi juice. The drink is served with a little side of chilled, Hainanese steamed chicken that is sprayed with a fragrant sesame and shallot oil.
The newly-opened Canjob Taproom on Tiong Bahru road offers draft cocktails, craft beers and spirits on tap.
Setting itself apart from the many night joints in Singapore; they carry a range of draft cocktails which can be "canned" for their patrons to bring home. They've got a machine that seals aluminum cans filled with their customers' choice of booze.

Whether a true beer aficionado or complete novice, Nickeldime always has 16 distinctive international craft beers on tap, with all premium beers listed on its chalk boards. The broad selection available ranges from light and fruity – such as Stone & Wood Green Coast Lager and Lervig Orange Velvet, to more complex brews – including Pirate Life Mosaic IPA and Black Butte Porter. By establishing exclusive relationships with breweries around the world, the Nickeldime team is able to continuously update its offering with the latest, unique finds and share the insightful story behind each beer. For non-beer drinkers, the well-balanced beverage menu includes house-made lemonade, refreshing squeezed juices and a selection of sparkling and non-sparkling wines.
The Red Lion is a Balmoral Rd / Bukit Timah Rd neighbourhood British bar serving up hearty British pub grub in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, right besides its partner outlet, SMITHS Fish & Chips shop.
The food is complimented with ice cold beverages with a British flavour (eg, London Pride bitter on tap), but the bar also promotes a wine culture for the more discerning customer and offers a full range of spirits and cocktails plus bottled craft beers and ciders.
Opening at 4pm Monday to Thursday and at midday on Fridays and weekends. On Saturdays 'TRL' morphs into a sporty bar where its outside deck comes into its own and customers can cheer on their teams and stars in all major sports on the bar's 3 large TV screens.
