Experience the award-winning taste of Mott 32, as the lauded restaurant presents its authentic Chinese cuisine in Singapore for the first time. The name “Mott 32” pays homage to 32 Mott Street in New York, where the city’s first Chinese convenience store opened in 1851. The store served as the nucleus for what is now a vibrant Chinatown in one of the most dynamic cities in the world.
Their chefs utilise the latest in modern and innovative cooking techniques from around the world to bring the best out of time-honoured recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. Their signature dishes include the Apple-Wood Roasted Peking Duck, Barbecue Pluma Iberico Pork Glazed with Yellow Mountain Honey, Iberico Pork with Soft Quail Egg and Black Truffle Siu Mai, and Crispy Triple Cooked Wagyu Beef Short Rib.
The provenance of each ingredient is of paramount importance to them. Ethical sourcing by using organic and sustainable ingredients wherever possible, while also working closely with farms, ensures the uncompromising quality of the food presented.
To complement the dishes, their original mixology programme is inspired by Chinese culture and the flavors of Asia. It is this particular level of modernity, combined with a respect for tradition, that makes Mott 32 so spectacularly unique.
Beyond the food, a cohesive story of East meets West is told through the blend of industrial New York design and classical Chinese décor of every Mott 32 location. At Mott 32 Singapore, elements reminiscent of the Hong Kong flagship store are interwoven with Singapore's rich foliage and flora – a celebration of the shared history and connection between the two Asian metropolises.

Gardens by the Bay's 5,000 sq m new space, Bayfront Plaza is situated just next to Bayfront MRT station, houses indoor and outdoor spaces for the community, the Bayfront Pop-up Market, and themed attraction Floral Fantasy.
Gardens by the Bay is at heart a People’s Garden for all Singaporeans. Bayfront Plaza is part of Gardens by the Bay’s push to provide more opportunities for all Singaporeans to enjoy the Gardens in the years to come. The amenities offered at Bayfront Plaza add to the 95 per cent of Gardens by the Bay that is non-ticketed.
CEO of Gardens by the Bay Mr Felix Loh said, “Since we began, Gardens by the Bay’s visitorship has surpassed expectations, and the success of the Gardens allows us to give back to the community. We hope to do this by establishing more beautiful non-ticketed spaces and curating myriad events and programmes without admission charges for Singaporeans from all walks of life to gather and enjoy themselves amidst nature.”
Since Gardens by the Bay opened in 2012, total visitorship to date has exceeded 50 million. Last year alone, the Gardens received more than 12 million visitors.
Bayfront Plaza is the newest non-ticketed space designed for the community, after the Japanese-themed garden Serene Garden opened in November last year.
It sits on the site previously occupied by the Future of Us exhibition that was part of the SG50 celebrations in 2015. The iconic lattice structure that was part of the exhibition has been retained and integrated into the design of Bayfront Plaza.
At Bayfront Plaza, the public can look forward to the Bayfront Pop-up Market every weekend featuring about 30 stalls selling a variety of merchandise. In line with Gardens by the Bay’s community focus, the Bayfront Pop-up Market provides a platform for social enterprises to showcase their products, with a third of the stalls intended to be run by social enterprises.
To encourage ground-up efforts among organisations to bring the community together, the indoor and outdoor spaces are available rent-free for community-focused events.
Aside from Bayfront Plaza, works have also started on the building of another non-ticketed green space called Active Garden. This is an activity area for seniors, which also aims to encourage inter-generational bonding. Active Garden is expected to be ready in early 2020.

Following their well-received retail debut in Singapore, Moncler's second boutique here is currently brewing and is set to open in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands sometime in Q1 2019.
The origins of the name lie in its very roots: Moncler is in fact an abbreviation of Monestier-de-Clermont, a mountain village near Grenoble. Here, in 1952 inspired entrepreneurs René Ramillon and Andrè Vincent founded the Company which would go on to produce the renowned down jacket.
In the beginning Moncler only made quilted sleeping bags, a single model of a lined hooded cape and tents with a telescopic structure and an external flysheet. These robust, functional articles immediately proved a hit with the public, as the new social phenomenon of mountain holidays began to take hold.
The first down jackets were conceived to protect workers who wore them over their overalls against the cold, in the small mountain factory. French mountaineer Lionel Terray first noticed them and foresaw their potential. The ‘Moncler pour Lionel Terray’ high performance collection was born.
