District6, Singapore’s newest co-working space, has opened its doors.
Housed on the second floor of Odeon Towers, the chic and minimalist space is designed to flood the space with natural light in the day. The generous 10,000 square feet space is outfitted with comforting furnishings and a pleasing palette of wood and white – drawing from the belief that the art of a decluttered space leads to a decluttered mind. Furthermore, the founders have left it up to the discretion of its tenants to decorate their own office as they see fit such that it would feel more like their very own space.
The promising community that the District6 team have built so far include people who create and innovate the built environment like real estate tech and smart living start-up IglooHome and one of the most significant research and education non-profits in the real estate industry - Urban Land Institute.
The team at DISTRICT6 will host events relevant to the co-working community that inspire and inform, above the usual networking opportunities. Those include, the first real estate tech Hackathon in Singapore hosted in collaboration with IglooHome, keynote speeches and networking hosted by Urban Land Institute, and fundraisers for visionary hotel schools in Myanmar.
The unassuming but elegantly designed space at District6 is utilised to provide a range of flexi desks, dedicated desks, private studios (for teams of 2 to 4), private offices (for larger companies with 5 to 20 people); and four unique meeting rooms.
Amenities and facilities include small meetings rooms, dedicated phone booths, a large boardroom, and an event space that holds up to 100 people, complete with 8-metre high ceiling with a projectable wall. The communal ‘living room’ also houses specialty Coffee bar from Kyoto, Kurasu. All beans are sourced by a specialty roaster around Japan to offer the finest selection of brews to keep the team going throughout the day – all complimentary to members of course.
The Work Project (a Hong Kong-based co-working space operator) will be opening soon in June 2017. It will fill the entire 4th floor of the new OUE Downtown Gallery located at Shenton Way.

Over 20 meeting rooms
Event space and workshop room
Full-service pantry including breakfast and lunch selection from The Providore
