Chloé, is a luxury Paris fashion Maison founded on the principles of freedom, lightness and femininity.
The French fashion house will make its return to Singapore with its first standalone boutique at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands around April this year.
Chloé was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, an Egyptian-born Parisienne with a dark beauty and bohemian spirit. Rejecting the stiff formality of haute couture, she created the first “luxury prêt-à-porter” collection.
More than sixty years after Gaby Aghion imagined it, Chloé’s vision of romantic, ultra feminine fashion lives on under the creative direction of British designer Clare Waight Keller.
History was made in Clearwater, Florida in April of 1983. 6 “Fun Loving” businessmen from the Midwest, with no experience in the food business were opening a restaurant with an owl as a logo, chicken wings as a feature item & cheerleaders in tank top & orange shorts. Thus Hooters was born. Their latest outlet in Singapore will be at The Sail, Marina Boulevard from 10th February 2017.
Today Hooters operates more than 500 outlets worldwide. Hooters Singapore is the 1st International Hooters outlet & the 1st Hooters in Asia, since 12 December 1996. This FUN neighbourhood restaurant promises good food and great service in a fun and friendly atmosphere! And let’s not forget the “Nearly World Famous Hooters Girls” These girls will be there to greet & serve you with a smile!!!
In between enjoying a good hearty meal and a cold glass of beer, be mesmerised by the girls spontaneously performing Hula Hoops feats and spreading the good cheer! In addition expect lots of surprises & wacky games, just the perfect place for any party celebrations. So why not dine and be entertained?

Kontiki presents a casual waterfront dining experience overlooking the spectacular Kallang River and Marina Bay City skyline, uniquely tucked next to the iconic Benjamin Sheares Bridge. Dine with a laid-back casual chic and riverside vibe complemented by glorious views of the city skyline, elegant palm trees and lush wide-open lawns.
Among the attractions of this 120-seater restaurant is well thought-out American comfort food that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Signatures include smokey BBQ ribs, cheeseburger, flame-grilled steaks, mac & cheese and old-fashioned pecan pie. A bar that celebrates cocktail, beer and wine culture yet also offers a good old-fashioned milkshake. An intimate indoor dining room exhibiting intricate and eclectic details - hand-painted koi fishes on rough cement floor, hand-built maple wood canoe, torpedo air-ducts on ceiling and captivating cassette tape tables with the warmth of a fireplace permeating through plenty of wood charm. Canopy shaded and breezy patio for outdoor dining with views of Marina Bay skyline.
The folks that created Kontiki set out to deliver a great escape in the heart of the city yet providing a sense of adventure and simplicity that is far from the hustle and bustle of it all. Why Kontiki? As they’d say, a great story always has a strong incipit. Kontiki was an old legend of the sun king that made a bold and almost impossible journey on primitive log raft that spanned from the Americas to the Islands of the South Sea in the Pacific. Kontiki became a good king in the end and the tale of the sun king’s adventure passed on for generations. In our Kontiki, the key themes of an adventurous spirit and simplicity are portrayed through its intrepid interior in great comfort.
Kontiki is anchored at the splendid PAssion WaVe @ Marina Bay, the newest lifestyle centre at Marina Bay. As Handlebar’s little brother, Kontiki brings familiarity of the founders’ concept to those who knows, albeit with lesser hardcore vibe and more venturous spirit. A well-known outpost restaurant and bar in Sembawang next to the Straits of Johore, big brother Handlebar - the first biker bar in Singapore established since 1999 - has been known for its hardcore characteristics, where one can have a Suicide Mug of beer along with Slap-Yo-Moma Pork Chops and Sudden Death Wings in a bike-themed haven decked out with hand-built furniture and décor, not forgetting their famous motorized blended Margarita. On similarities of both being in far-out locations, lady boss Jan believes a core part of the business is providing a unique yet laid-back lifestyle and environment for everyone, as a form of escape from this metropolitan city.
Quintessentially, Kontiki is an easy place where you’d want to sit back and just enjoy yourself under the sky, with fresh breeze, sun-kissed water and great company.

The timepieces range from Haute Horlogerie to iconic collections such as Girard-Perregaux 1966, the seductive feminine Cat’s eye series, and the Vintage 1945 which celebrated its 70 years anniversary this year. There are even more collections as one continues to browse through the boutique with interior décor features of precious wood furnishing, emanating modern sophistication.

Heralded at their initial release in 2001 as a break from the past and a new direction of horology, the wristwatches of Richard Mille were from their very inception, extraordinary and uncompromising. From its establishment, the young brand would lay claim to a number of world premiere innovations in the application, use and design of new technological materials that have seriously extended the entire field of horological knowledge and invention.
Taking leads from the research and development world of high-tech aeronautics and racing car industries, materials new to watchmaking such as carbon nanofiber, ALUSIC, Aluminum-Lithium, ANTICORODAL and PHYNOX have made a noticeable entrance into the world of watchmaking via Richard Mille Watches. Each of these materials was chosen for the specific, clearly defined and improved efficiency they bring to watchmaking. Novel materials such as these are the foundation for achieving advanced chronometric results, whilst simultaneously broadening the possibilities open to horology in the 21st century. Since then, many brands have followed this pathway to the future originally drawn up by Richard Mille in 2001.
Nonetheless, new materials and their potential for horological applications constitute only a small part of the demands required to be truly exceptional in the over populated world of horology. It is only when materials are combined with technical engineering excellence and inventiveness that the necessary prerequisites for creating ultimate wristwatches can be fulfilled. Breaking away from the current trend in creating an in house manufacture, Richard Mille instead produces their timepieces using the best companies available today in Switzerland. These manufacturing partners are considered manufacture désignée, a term which defines the leading specialists of each discipline whom the company can count on for the realization of their designs and concepts. The ability to deliver the highest tolerances and finish with superlative materials is of course a minimum requirement. Equally essential for the creation of a successful product is the skill and ability of each partner to develop new approaches to watchmaking, their inquisitiveness and openness to the use of new materials and their application, and last but not least their deep and thorough understanding of the Richard Mille philosophy and strategy.
