A Singapore venture is emerging as the new powerhouse of Asia’s electronic dance music industry with the unveiling of a new state-of-the-art production studio.
Launching in October 2018, TITAN Studios at Duxton Hill is the brainchild of Singapore electronic music management agency, Jupiter Labs, which also has outlets in London, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Melbourne and Los Angeles. Jupiter Labs aims to become Asia’s leading artist incubator having already fostered partnerships with leading agencies and labels around Asia. The TITAN studios are a key component of that strategy.
Designed and built by dance music producers and renowned audio engineers, TITAN Studios' facilities simultaneously provide both comfort and creative space, without the complications of traditional recording studios. That doesn’t mean compromise, as TITAN offers advanced sound design tech and a wealth of vintage, analog and digital instruments and outboard gear.
Packages start from S$125 to S$185 an hour. Drop them a line at bookings@titanstudios.sg for more details.

D-Flat Studios has expanded its music education business from a 400 sq ft operation in Tiong Bahru to an additional 2,100 sq ft educational space at The Salvation Army @ Family Hub on Tanglin Road. Founded in 2012, D-Flat Studios is a music school specialising in piano, vocal and musical theatre education.
The Tanglin Studio boasts 5 differently themed learning spaces, and a recording studio. A large common area greets students and parents when they first enter, and this space is also used for theory and musicianship classes.
The Studio distinguishes itself through experiential learning. Students are taught the language of music, and are encouraged to apply that knowledge across a spectrum of instruments. Chiefly, aural and musicianship are basic fundamentals in their pedagogy, using the piano and voice as an aid to learning music. The objective is to give them an understanding of the aural landscape they live in, complementing their academia by encouraging them to develop their cognitive abilities.
The Studio currently teaches students from 4 to 89 years old, and offers free trial classes.
