The restaurant lives up to its namesake by offering an impressive selection of fine wines, champagnes, whiskies, sake and more, coupled with delectable dim sum and Chinese "little bites" that will satisfy even the most ardent fan.
The establishment has two separate and distinctive areas. The indoor bar area which features the full Shanghai Tang décor treatment, lounge seating and a Chinese cabinet bar display backdrop.
The alfresco & private dining area on the other hand, features Chinese inspired décor with an old turn-of-the-century European twist, a walk-in wine cellar, and more organic outdoor friendly furnishings. The private dining section is also attached to an enclosed kitchen where the chefs display their mastery and serve up freshly made premium quality dim sum and Chinese food.

You are invited to literally step behind The Green Door into a space brimming with inventive interior décor designed by The Stripe Collective. From old gramophones crafted into elegant oversized flower lighting, a 1930's bicycle turned into a quirky washroom feature, a vintage chest of drawers transformed into a herb garden, or a whimsical wall of refashioned drawers that also turn into table tops and shelving... a refreshingly unexpected experience awaits within.
Take your time to spot all the curios and knick-knacks carefully placed within the beautifully lit landscaped garden, where a surprise waits at every corner. Best of all, you can enjoy a garden atmosphere no matter where you choose to be, whether it be at the more vibrant indoor bar, or the more relaxed alfresco area surrounded by sumptuous foliage - the casual yet chic ambiance always evokes a sense of being close to everything…and yet away from it all!
The Green Door’s extensive drinks menu also boasts subtle garden nuances. Together with distinctive and often playful presentations, the signature cocktails including Life’s A Peach, Marilyn Chambers' Tipple and Raunchy Redhead, featuring produce freshly plucked from their organic fruit & herb garden, are often a sight and taste to behold.

The Prime Society comes back with a new menu approach.
Located in the lush surroundings of Dempsey Hill The Prime Society grill and steakhouse blends colonial charm with contemporary chic. Specialising in the finest Australian beef, the restaurant also serves an enticing variety of fresh seafood and vegetable dishes infused with pan-Asian flavours. Armed with an impressive culinary pedigree, Chef Cuddy is intent on entertaining you in a refined yet casual environment, where good food and wine meet value for money.

They offer a large selection of small dishes to start the meat, giving you the opportunity to taste and discover what you enjoy most.
With signature dishes such as miso-baked black cod in lau shu fen soy broth and cured kingfish with shimeji mushroom, Chef Cuddy’s signature style focuses on seasonal produce presented with a modern Japanese twist.

The beautiful lush gardens of Dempsey Hill welcomes E+ Wine, a boutique wine retail shop that has been birthed by the desire to afford you a special little haven where good wines can be found within the confines of a charming and delightful environment.
It offers a stunning repertoire of genuinely great wines that have been selected by hand with love and passion where no wine in the store is considered average.
They represent a fast-growing Spanish wine movement but also include a stunning selection of Italian, French, Portuguese, and even Austrian and German wines that are worthy of well deserved attention. The wines come from very well known regions but are boutique in nature as E+ Wine works directly with vineyards that offer limited productions and very special grape harvests.
E+ Wines is a partnership between 'Iconic Wines', a Spanish / Singaporean wine distributor helmed by the Spanish Dynamic duo who are making waves in the Singapore wine scene, Ferran Riu & Jorge Padilla, and by the renowned and distinguished John Erdos of the furniture empire. Iconic Wines, extolled as Spain’s national pride, is a company that has been formed to enhance, to elevate and to exalt the original and die-hard winemakers that nobody hears about but that deserve attention. These winemakers, are the producers of extraordinary wine because they have not been affected by the big wine conglomerates that value quantity over quality. Iconic Wines provide a voice for the unheard and have even attracted the attention of Antonio Banderas who has co-invested in one of their own vineyards. Because Iconic Wines is a distributor, the prices that one may find at the shop are like Duty Free levels.
They work very closely with industry virtuosos to ensure that they stay up to date with great wines that are popular, but at the same time maintaining the unique essence of the boutique.
It is perfect for small intimate cocktails and canapé events for up to 50 people and they are happy to cater for almost all personal requests.
E+ Wines holds wine tastings on a very regular basis, by bringing you the actual winemakers in person, who have themselves worked with the wines and held the vines with their bare hands.

Continuing to grow, Tippling Club launches its new open-air forest terrace. Dubbed the Tippling Terrace, it is an amazing space where guests can enjoy music and drinks under a canopy of trees and stars. The new annex has an area of over 1,000 sq feet, seating capacity for 40 people and standing room to host over 80 guests.
How They Met: Their story begins when Cynthia Chua, owner of the Spa Esprit Group, lured a reluctant Matthew Bax to Singapore for a short-term consultancy role. Impressed by Matthew’s underground Melbourne success at Der Raum, Cynthia invited him to revamp the drinks at her local joints, Barracks Café and Camp Bar. A strong friendship and business alliance was born. Matthew introduced Cynthia to his best mate, Chef Ryan Clift. Within weeks, discussions led to a joint venture that would allow Cynthia to take the next step in her dining ventures and breathe life to Matthew and Ryan’s six-year-old dream.
Who They Are: Ryan Clift – Partner/Head Chef
The Big Idea: Matthew and Ryan had long been working on a brave concept to pursue a higher form of food and drink matching and certainly a more fun approach to traditional haute cuisine and drink service. Essentially what they wanted to create was one big chef’s table, engrossing and drawing the customer into the kitchen and bar to experience all the magic of the creative process. Hence, the birth of Tippling Club.
Location, Location: A glance outside or a drink on the balcony will quickly explain the choice of location. Tippling Club is at once accessible yet refreshingly secluded. Just minutes from the CBD, you enter the oasis of Tippling Club in the remote area of Dempsey Hill and you immediately feel miles away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Singapore. Sitting amongst ancient tower trees in a lush, tropical rainforest, the choice of location was the easiest decision the team would make.
Build it and They Will Come: Inspired by artists Christo and Jeanne Claude’s Wrapped Reichstag in Berlin, designer Jerry de Souza created an equally progressive yet relaxed setting for guests. “My goal was to marry the colonial past of the existing building with a modern skin, and the ever present surrounding jungle,” says de Souza. Preserving the historical significance of the building, de Souza added a modern annex to the original structure using a mix of canvas, recycled industrial rubber, stainless steel, glass and wood. A chic industrial bar gives both diners and drinkers front row seats to the action at the bar and kitchen. Overhead, an elaborate bottle installation of rare spirits hangs within reach of the bartenders -- a design element that is a nod to Bax’s other bar, the world-renowned Der Raum in Melbourne. Outside, the newly constructed open-air forest terrace allows guest to enjoy cocktails under a canopy of trees and stars.

Don Quijote is the chivalric main character in a fictional Spanish novel titled "El ingenioso hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha", translated as "The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quixote of La Mancha". In episodic fashion, the novel narrates the exploits of Don Quijote who, obsessed with tales of chivalry, roves the lands in search of adventure. Accompanied by his skinny horse Rocinante and his sidekick Sancho Panza, he asks to be bestowed knighthood by an innkeeper that he thinks is the lord of a castle and battles wind mills that he believes to be ferocious giants.
Not surprisingly, Don Quijote becomes the subject of many cruel jokes. The novel eventually ended with him regaining his full sanity and renouncing all chivalry. Recognised as one of the world's best works of fiction, the novel went on to inspire many artists in the musical, literary and filmmaking fields.
Today, Don Quijote is the name of an authentic Spanish restaurant with branches in Macao and Singapore. Famed for our critically acclaimed tapas and traditionally made Spanish fare like the Paella Valencia, Don Quijote offers an extensive Spanish menu including over twenty five tapas, savoury soups, fresh seafood and salads, delectable pastas and very succulent meats.
