The first Tsujiri Tea House outside of Japan has opened at 100AM this month. Founded in 1860 in Uji, a city in Kyoto Prefecture, it specialises in green tea and serves soft ice cream and ice parfaits.

For more than 150 years, Tsujiri's philosophy of offering the best quality green tea has remained the same, by painstakingly selecting the best green tea leaves from the renowned harvest of Uji in Kyoto, using the traditional grinding method to bring out the best aroma and flavour.

Since ancient times, green tea has been known to have soothing effect and health benefits. Nowadays, green tea is known as an anti-aging and anti-cancerous agents. Green tea is rich in Vitamin A, C, E and Beta carotene and is know to be one of the best antioxidants. It's richness in Catechin, helps to burn calories, so you can enjoy great nutrients without worrying about the calories.

Group Therapy is a collective space for groups to gather and is tucked away on the 2nd story of a gorgeous conservation shophouse in the newly gentrified Duxton enclave.

Owners Deborah & Weilin believe that the best form of nourishment for the soul is often sought through inter-personal relationships forged through common interests and values – thus the name ‘Group Therapy’. The location of the space is deliberately secluded and its interiors left raw yet comforting to reveal its simplicity and authenticity for those seeking respite in the heart of the CBD.

They serve 100% Arabica Costa Rican beans all day from their espresso bar which are freshly ground on premise for each and every cup. They also serve a small brunch and lunch menu, as well as sweet treats throughout the day including freshly made waffles and home-made cakes.

For the non-coffee drinkers, they carry a selection of JING teas, artisanal & hand crafted beers, and boutique wines – there’s bound to be something for everyone!

They also have regular experiential lifestyle workshops on art, coffee, wine and beer. The space also accommodates events, bespoke parties, launches and celebrations.
