The american Chef Cat Cora has set up her very first restaurant in Asia at Resorts World Sentosa.

Cat Cora was the first and only female Iron Chef and now has several television shows, cookbooks and restaurants under her supervision.

Located inside the S.E.A. Aquarium alongside the Open Ocean Habitat, the restaurant uses sustainably sourced seafood which echoes the Marine Life Park’s mission of ensuring a healthy future for vibrant and sustainable marine, coastal and freshwater ecosystems. You will get to marvel at the tranquil marine life while you tuck into your meal.

The Maritime Xperiential Museum at Resorts World Sentosa is now completed. The project, lead by MGA Studio head Patrick Burke, marks another phase in RWS’s development.

The Maritime Xperiential Museum is an iconic structure that draws its inspiration from sea-going vessels and thus embodies the stories contained in the exhibits and programs presented inside. Throughout the day, the shadows and dappled light cast by the ribbed frame enlivens the interior exhibits. The interactive exhibits and the circular 300-seat Typhoon Theater, created by the international designer Ralph Appelbaum, provide you a wide variety of experiences. The exhibit focuses on the maritime Silk Route, which historically stretched from Southeast Asia to Oman.

The Museum is set back from the water’s edge by an esplanade with a covered pedestrian loggia that allows you to enjoy the view of the mainland across the bay. At night, when viewed from the water, the glassy facades of the Museum reveals the brightly-lit interior, becoming a beacon on the water and a landmark on the horizon.

The Museum and Marina are thematically linked to the adjacent outdoor Marine Life Park and form a rich experience focused on the sea, marine life and maritime experiences. Along the waterfront at the base of Universal Plaza is the Showplace Theater, with large stone steps creating a seating area for 2,000 people. With views across the bay to the main island, this is the location of the Crane Dance, a nightly sound and light show in the water that epitomizes the fun and drama of Resorts World.

Sited at the fringe of a tropical rain forest, Equarius Hotel makes an ideal getaway for nature lovers and families. Here one finds the Equarius Hotel, the exclusive ESPA Spa and Spa Village, and the luxury Spa Villas guest quarters. The Equarius hotel, with 360 keys, is located at the edge of the Marine Life Park and very much part of the landscape experience. The adjacent Equarius Water Park abuts the rising terrain of an existing park with its beautiful trails and heritage trees.

Located between the main hotel building and the rising slope of the hillside are two tree house suites, elevated on stilts and featuring rustic wood construction. The rustic architectural character of the Equarius property thus reinforces the experience of its tropical forest setting.
