Internet users in Singapore can expect more stable high-speed connectivity in the near future. Telecommunications service provider, Pacnet, has just unveiled its multi-million-dollar newly completed data facility in Changi. The facility can support high-speed nationwide broadband network such as the upcoming Nucleus Connect network and will also support Internet users in the region, especially in India.

It is expected that SingTel, StarHub and M1 tap into this high-technology infrastructure soon. The data centre services market here is currently estimated to be worth some S$233.88 million and Singapore's data centre services market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 13.5 per cent next year.
Telco service provider Pacnet said that over the next few years, it will inject up to S$26 million annually into Singapore.
