Bergs burgers are Gourmet. Bergs is the new, completely unique gourmet burger restaurant in Singapore. They love burgers that's why that's all they do!
Creating a fusion of east and west, the Bergs experience is unforgettable. That means new and exotic tastes and ingredients, variety, and flavour. The days of pre-cooked, plastic tasting, mass produced burgers are at an end. Bergs burgers are prepared entirely from scratch, in-house. They make all their own patties, sauces, and marinades from secret recipes created by them and inspired by their experiences and travels around Asia and Australia. And of course your food is fresh; prepared and cooked in front of you in their open kitchen.
Asian inspired flavours liberally pepper their menu. The likes of mango chutney, chilli ginger and coriander can be found in more than a few recipes while garam masala makes an appearance in the Lamb burger (known as the ‘Kiwi Stud’). They even include beetroot in their BFB burger, a surprising new element for many, while an old favourite for any Australian.
Other highlights on their menu include the Alamack – a fish burger with a name inspired by a common Malay phrase, the Budgie Smuggler – a chicken pattie burger with hints of sweet chilli and orange honey, and for vegetarians, the Krakatoa and the Good Falla. The former is a tofu burger with liberal lashings of peanut (satay) sauce and coriander to pique the taste-buds of tofu lovers while the falafel filled Good Falla evokes exotic tastes with avocado, lemon yoghurt and aioli making it a protein enriched answer for weary workabees.
New burgers and flavours continue to be introduced all the time, and if you've got some suggestions then do let them know!
Once upon a time two Aussie's living in Singapore went in search of the perfect burger. The result is Bergs, which was launched in May 2009 at Far East Square, in the heart of the Sinagpore CBD and Bergs represents an exotic new approach to Gourmet Burger cuisine. Combining Eastern and Western flavours with fresh ingredients, homespun recipes and an open kitchen concept (so you can watch your burger taking shape in front of you) Bergs and its burgers are here to delight your tastebuds.

Blu Kouzina was born out of the founders' love of sharing a hearty meal with friends, spiced with quality olive oil and accompanied with good wine. By marrying their passion for the food of their native Greece and the family's signature olive oil, Effie and Dennis Tsakiris created a warm environment in a four-storey building in a plush residential area on Bukit Timah road that will take you through a short trip to Greece.
On the ground floor, the open kitchen is a hive of activity where the chefs are preparing both traditional and modern Greek recipes with the freshest of ingredients, some especially flown from Greece. A staircase in the back -- past the chef's table and shelves displaying not only the different varieties of the family's extra virgin 'Green Gold' olive oil but also other Greek products that are key to the flavors you'll experience at the restaurant -- leads to a spacious sitting area on the second floor.
Clean lines and traditional blue and white colors drawn from the palette of a beach 'taverna' dominate here.
An outdoor sitting area at the front will transport you to the white-washed alleys of a Greek island while in the 'ouzeri' soon opening on the thrid floor one can enjoy a platter of 'meze' with a glass of 'ouzo' -- Greece's distinct anise-seed liquor -- in a rustic, mountain village.
The best ingredient for an enjoyable evening is some company to share good food with. The more companions, the merrier. Italians knows this, and live by this formula. That's why in Italy, families and friends gather together come dining time, sharing the bounty of the land - and the stories of the day - in a simple celebration of life, and living.
At Italiannies, this rich tradition is followed faithfully, with an ambience resembling authentic everyday Italian households and an amiable staff. "A'more di Merrier" is the Italiannies shared presentation menu concept. It encourages guests to share their orders in the true Italian tradition as they believe strongly that the best ingredient for an enjoyable dining experience is some company to share good food with.
And to make a dining experience truly a family affair, Italiannies unique Continental façade beckons. From the minute guests walk into the restaurant, they will be greeted with sepia-toned photographs of families decorating the walls, lacey curtains, and dark wooden furniture which all add up to Italiannies homey ambience. These plus the aroma of freshly cooked food emanating from its open kitchen are enough to entice guests to stay while longer for seconds.
At Italiannies, there will always be a feast. With "A'more di merrier", great food and good times are just on the table, waiting to be shared.
