Konaka, the first company to revolutionize Japanese men’s fashion with the use of advanced technology, opened its doors at Plaza Singapura to bring its successful line of men’s and women’s suits: Suit Select.
With its first outlet in Singapore, Suit Select prides itself on offering high quality suits with top quality materials at affordable prices, using innovation and modern technology to cut the cost of production while maintaining the design of its sleek and trendy clothing wear. The collection is showcased in a 1000 square foot store, where you are encouraged to use the retail space as a walk-in closet while browsing garments from the brand’s two distinctive lines: "Black Line" and "Silver Line" including the pioneering Shower Clean Suits.
Founded in 2001, Suit Select was re-branded by world renowned art director, Kashiwa Sato, in 2007. His vision to make Suit Select a brand that excelled not only in quality, but also design, saw him take a hands-on approach in the development of both "Black Line" and "Silver Line" as well as store interiors. This vision, coupled with Konaka’s industry and technological expertise, quickly made Suit Select a brand synonymous with style and quality.
One of the company’s most prominent technological breakthroughs is the shower clean technology; the first of its kind in the fashion world. Developed in cooperation with Australian Wool Innovation, which owns The Woolmark Company, this fabric allows suits to be cleaned under a shower to easily remove dirt. Odours are also washed away and the suit can be worn again without being ironed.
Starting at the hosiery factory in Troyes, which is still in operation today, the company then went on to specialize in underwear for men, women and children.
The famous Petit Bateau underwear was enshrined when it won the Grand Prize for innovation, awarded at the Exposition Universelle in Paris. Later on, by observing the special necklines of the soldiers' t-shirts, who donned their underwear without taking off their helmets, Petit Bateau invented it's first baby bodysuits.
In 1988 the brand was purchased by Yves Rocher, the world leader in plant origin cosmetics.
The 115-year-old French fashion brand is synonymous with quality and comfort clothing and still manufactures its cotton knitted jerseys. Petit Bateau has a wide array of colors and styles that are fun and trendy for all ages. The brand designs 500 styles per season and so, allows for a very wide selection in every collection.
Converse is an American shoe company that has been making shoes, lifestyle fashion and athletic apparel since the early 20th century.
In his late 30s, Marquis Mills Converse, who was previously a respected manager at a footwear manufacturing firm, opened the Converse Rubber Shoe Company in Malden, Massachusetts in February 1908. The company was a rubber shoe manufacturer, providing winterized rubber soled footwear for men, women and children. By 1910, Converse was producing 4,000 shoes daily, but it was not until 1915 that the company began manufacturing athletic shoes for tennis.
When the U.S. entered World War II in 1941, Converse shifted production to manufacturing rubberized footwear, outerwear and protective suits for the military. Widely popular during the 1950s and 1960s, Converse promoted a distinctly American image with its Converse Yearbook. The Artist Charles Kerins created cover art that celebrated Converse's role in the lives of high school and college athletes.
Nowadays Converse makes sneakers and clothes for individuals everywhere who live creatively, optimistically and rebelliously. They exist to provoke, inspire and go along with them, whether that’s on a court, the green or the concrete, in a club, a studio or anywhere else.

Santoni, the famous Italian brand has opened it's very first Singaporean outlet in Marina Bay Sands.
Santoni shoes: quality, craftsmanship, pursuit of perfection and creativity. These are the elements that, even in the presence of unending stylistic change, have transformed this craft into an art form. Shapes, structures, processes, techniques that arise not only from the experience and an innate aptitude at elegance, but a true culture of the shoe that began with the male shoe cobbler connoisseur, has been extended to women, children and accessories.
Over time, Santoni has perfected its own hand-colouring technique of the shoe, known as "patina", which is a distinctive feature of the brand and a sign of its uniqueness.
Their master craftsmen employ original tint recipes to apply up to 15 different colours to the leather, in a process that may require many hours of labour. The first colour is applied by hand to the leather and left to be absorbed. That is followed by subsequent applications with a wool cloth, which are always performed slowly and in a vertical direction. This slow, exacting process guarantees that every pair of shoes will have a unique, irreproducible patina.
For forty years they have created unique products with dedication to excellence. They create and refine traditional techniques to meet your expectations with creativity, innovation and continuous research.

They don’t use a fit model; they use real women.
This is why their collection flatters women from a size 6 to a size 20.
They have watched so many of their customers be transformed and learn to love their body because they have discovered clothes that make them feel like a woman.
All women want this positive experience from clothes, so Maria Grachvogel wanted to make the collection accessible to women beyond their Sloane Street store.
This dream has now become a reality for women in Singapore as they have just opened their 1st flagship store here at The Paragon.
The store reflects the new Burberry store design concept developed by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey. A global luxury brand established since 1856 with a distinctive British attitude - synonymous with quality, innovation and timeless style, anchored by the iconic trench coat.
British materials and themes are used throughout the store including full range audio, wifi, digital lookbooks on iPads and an interactive touch screen.
The store features the Burberry London, Burberry Brit and Burberry Sport collections with Menswear, Womenswear, Non Apparel, Fragrances, Timepieces and Eyewear.
